Being a friend? Or thinking something more?

There's this guy who i've been friends with for almost forever. Like, I used to watch Barney and Thomas the Tank Engine with him at his house. But I haven't gotten to really know him up until this year. His mom is my tutor/teacher and occasionally we'll walk over to his place together. I really like him, and enjoy this time, but sometimes he stays behind and talks with his friends or just leaves without me. But despite this, he's really sweet and attentive around me, and seems more comfortable with me than with other girls. (and maybe it's just my imagination, but it seems like he sneeks peeks at me whenever he can!) He's always easy to talk to and seems to remember a lot from our conversations. What do you think? Does he like me, or is he just being a good friend?
